Criteria & Process

  • The Nebraska Golf Hall of Fame will use the following processes and criteria for consideration for induction into the Hall of Fame.

    All nominations must be submitted using the online form.

  • Criteria:
    Consideration will be at the discretion of the Board of Directors based on playing record and contributions to the game.


    Catagories:
    Playing ability (Pro or Am)
    PGA Professional (Teaching/growing the game)
    Admin/Management (Indv./Org within the game)
    Course design & construction
    Course Superintendant
    Benifactor/Contributor (Non-administrative)

  • The Nebraska Golf Hall of Fame Selection Process is governed by a Selection Committee that is made up of the President and 1 representative from each of the NGA, NWAGA, Nebraska Section PGA, Historical Committee, and 2 appointees of the President. They review all nominees & present no more than 10 nominees for induction.

  • Each new Class of Inductees will be presented to the full Board for a vote after the vetting process by the Selection Committee.
