Bill Kubly

Bill Kubly heads Lincoln-based Landscapes Unlimited, one of the nation’s premier golf course construction companies. Kubly. who was twice been named "Golf Course Builder of the Year" has completed over 100 projects since the company's modest beginning 20 years ago. His company now generates annual sales of $3O million.

Kubly employs 150 fulltime, year-round employees of which, about two dozen are based in Lincoln. During the peak building season, about 300 people work for him.

While building courses in every corner of the nation Kubly's firm has also greatly influenced the local golfing scene. Among area constructed by Landscapes Unlimited are The Champions Club, Shadow Ridge and Eagle Run in Omaha, the Sand Hills Golf Club in Mullen, Dakota, Dunes near North Sioux City, S. D., and the Glen Oaks Golf Club in Des Moines.

Kubly's peers are among his biggest boosters, Tom Fazio. one of the nation's most respected golf course architects recently wrote, Bill Kubly has built a reputation of the highest quality with honor and integrity. He has done much to elevate golf not only in his own region but throughout the nation."

Kubly graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in landscape architecture. He credits his family and the people who work for him for the success of Landscapes Unlimited.

Bill and his wife Myrna have two daughters, Paige and Lauren.
